Using a precooler drastically decreases the cooling time of harvested produce such as avocados, bananas, blueberries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbages, cantaloupes, carrots, cherries, cucumbers, grapes, grapefruits, honeydews, kiwifruits, nectarines, oranges, okra, peaches, bell peppers, plums, squashes, strawberries, tomatoes, cut floral, root stocks, and much more. Our custom designed precoolers provide our clients the ability to rapidly chill their produce from harvest temperature to shipping temperature in as little as 45 minutes.
The installation of precooler handlers and tunnels, consisting of static cooling palletized bulk produce, quickly and efficiently cools the produce while minimizing spoilage. Custom precooler rooms accommodate 8-28 pallets.
